Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal data Affinity Cloud Studio (“we”, “us”) handles when you use this website or contact us, why, how long we keep it, and your rights. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) in mind.

Who we are

Affinity Cloud Studio, Mount Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600002, India. For anything about your personal data: Email affinity.cloudstudio@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 82483 66951.

What this website collects

Very little. The website has no accounts, no cart and no payments. It does not set cookies and does not use browser storage.

Like every website, our host (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data — your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites; it gives us totals such as page views, which pages are popular, the referring website, browser type and country.

The contact form and WhatsApp buttons

Our contact form does not send your details to us or store them. When you press “Send on WhatsApp”, it only builds a message and opens WhatsApp. Nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp. The same applies to every “WhatsApp” and “Enquire” button.

When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive what you choose to share, for example:

  • your name, phone number and/or email address
  • what you would like, quantities, event dates and a delivery address
  • photos, names, logos or messages you want on a personalised product
  • for monthly plans: details about your business and, if agreed, access to your social media accounts

Why we use it

We use your data only to:

  • reply to your enquiry and give you details or a quote
  • make, personalise and deliver your order, or provide the plan you chose
  • keep a record of the order for follow-ups and our accounts
  • meet legal obligations

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Instagram: we post photos of customers’ finished products only with the customer’s permission, and never show names or faces without consent. If you change your mind, ask us and we will remove the post.

Who else is involved

To run the website and talk to you we rely on these services, which process data under their own privacy policies:

  • WhatsApp / Meta: messages you send us on WhatsApp
  • Google: our email (Gmail), and Google Maps if you choose to load the map
  • Cloudflare: website hosting, security and visit statistics (Web Analytics)
  • Our trusted courier partners: your name, phone number and address, only to deliver your order

Some of these companies may store data outside India.

Google Maps

The map on our Contact page is not loaded until you tap “Load map”. Once you do, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set cookies inside the map. If you never tap it, nothing is sent to Google.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. Our visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) work without cookies, and we use no advertising or tracking tools, so there is no cookie banner. If we ever add cookies or tracking, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where required.

How long we keep it

  • WhatsApp chats and order details: up to 1 year after your order or enquiry, then deleted.
  • Photos you send for printing or personalisation: deleted 30 days after delivery.
  • If a law requires us to keep a record for longer, we keep only that record, only for as long as required.
  • Website request logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short time under its own policy.

Keeping it safe

Only the people who handle your order can see your messages and files. If a data breach ever affects your personal data, we will tell you and, where the law requires, the Data Protection Board of India.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • correct, complete or update it
  • delete it (unless we must keep it by law)
  • withdraw consent you gave earlier
  • nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to

To use any of these rights, Email affinity.cloudstudio@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 82483 66951. We may need to confirm it is you before acting.

Grievances

Contact for privacy questions and complaints: Grievance Officer, Affinity Cloud Studio — affinity.cloudstudio@gmail.com, +91 82483 66951. We reply within 7 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. Parents sometimes send us photos of their children for personalised gifts: by sending a child’s photo you confirm you are their parent or guardian, and we use it only to make that order.

Changes

We will update this page if anything changes and show the new date at the top.
